Anime North 2008: Miscellaneous Shots 10
A guy cosplaying as Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist at the Anime North 2008 anime convention in Toronto, ON. Picture taken on Saturday of the con while I was searching for the bag stuffing room door outside the TCC (but the door was inside!!). This was 1 of 3 Al Elric armor cosplays I saw, the 2 other being metallic, one dull and the other shiny.
Photoshop CS, 15 minutes. Adjusted levels, reduced noise, sharpened a bit, increased contrast, applied Lens Blur to the BG, added a vignette and adjusted saturation. Otherwise, what you see here came directly from the camera (and cropped).
Note: The image already had some bokeh, but I added more.
If someone knows the cosplayer, please tell me.
Painted cardboard looks cheap, but the form is accurate. The 2 other Als were a bit... skinny... to say the least.
